The other big plus is space. I am 6'4" with two sons over six foot tall. Even with me driving, there is enough space behind the drivers seat, and plenty of headroom. For the first time people actually tell me the back seats are comfortable! see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

Great! The transmission is silky smooth - it's hard to tell when the six speed shifts! Engine pulls strongly; 0-60 mph under 6 seconds with lots of power from the bored out Lincoln V-6 272hp engine. The coolest thing is how the transmission holds the shift so you can accelerate fast out of a curve. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

Since the Fusion and the Mazda 6 are essentially the same car, it came down to which was the preferred version. The Mazda has a very nice shifting 5 speed manual available in the V6. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

Needs another 200 hp and 300 ft/lbs of torque. To be fair first gear is geared really low. Once you run the engine up to 5500 to 6000 rpm then second gear has some grip. The variable valve time really helps during cruise but passing requires down shifting see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

There are plenty of turbo 4 cylinders that have equal or better performance than this 6 cylinder engine. The car should be more powerful with a 6 in it see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

Despite the good performance I rate the engine a bit of a mixed bag. Very toruey in the mid range it runs out of puff fairly early on which does not exactly sceam sporty to me. Also very flaccid low down in the rev range which mean around town you can be out accelerated by very prosaic machinery unless you work at it. I would sooner have a straight 6 any day of the week myself. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

My car has the 18" low profile tires, which are quite attractive. However, Mazda must have manufcatured magnets into these wheels, as I have had more flat tires in the car than any other, driven on the same roads. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |
