I bought this 07 Expedition new in 2007 from a Ford dealer in Colorado. It now has 28000 miles on it and really like it. It rides very well and is quiet with plenty of power to handle any grade or tow any load I have subjected it to. It is a 4X4 with the trailer tow package so may be that accounts for the great towing abilities it has. If you are looking for a Suv with a great ride quality and towing ability, this is it. It has a sun roof, but I have never used it. I really like the power rear hatch and use it all the time. Has power fold down seats that has been folded down since I left the dealers lot, so I don't know anything about how they work. Over all it is a really nice SUV. I have never had it off road so I don't know how the FWD works off road. At 65 MPH it rides so smooth and quiet that it is a pleasure to drive on long trips. Would buy another one. see full Ford Expedition review |

The 6 speed hunted quite a bit and the engine did not feel as powerful as the specs and mpg would suggest. see full Ford Expedition review |

The number one problem I had with this 07 Expedition was the transmission. It had problems from day one and the dealer could not ever seem to fix it. It wanted to start out in second gear. A computer download from the dealer would fix the problem for a month, then the problems started again. Finally after four years it was repaired on extended warranty with a new valve body in the transmission. It works fine now, two years. I have to say that this problem really got to me that it could not be repaired during the four years I kept returning it to the dealer. If you buy a 07 Expedition, be sure to check for this problem as other people have had the very same problem. if you do, you will need a new valve body in the transmission to correct the problem. see full Ford Expedition review |
