The headrests are leaned too far forward, pushing my head forward. Could not get a comfortable seating position. I had a headache and my neck hurt after about 10 minutes. It was even worse in the passenger seat. see full Subaru Legacy review |

The turbo power train is excellent - smooth and fun to drive. Sub 6 sec 0-60 for a 30K car is great and the safety/stability of AWD is excellent. see full Subaru Legacy review |

2010 | 4dr Sedan 170-horsepower 2.5L H4 6-speed manual AWD |
Reasonable torque, especially above 3000 RPM. The AWD is unstoppable (with decent tires) in the snow and the car is well balanced. see full Subaru Legacy review |
2010 | 4dr Sedan 170-horsepower 2.5L H4 6-speed manual AWD |
I love the diesel engine. Its torque is amazing. It pulls strong from 1400rpm to 4500rpm. You never need to downshift to pass on the highway, because at 65mph in 6th gear it's right at the peak torque. The transmission is also smooth and has great gearing for fuel economy and performance. It's doing less than 2000rpm at 70mph, but still accelerates effortlessly. It's also quiet and smooth. see full Subaru Legacy review |
2009 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 243hp 2.5L H4 6-speed manual AWD |
Very quick and durable engine- very similar to the drivetrain in the WRX STi. the AWD is amazing. for the price, no one else really offers a 6 speed manual and awd. other options are the a4, or 335. but those cost alot more. see full Subaru Legacy review |
2009 | 4dr Sedan 245-horsepower 3.0L H6 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
The V^ has 70 horsepower more than the 2001 GT that I traded. The powerband is smooth and the transmission shifts great. The car has the power to blend into traffic on a highway, and yet the MPG is better than the 2001 GT. see full Subaru Legacy review |
2009 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 243hp 2.5L H4 6-speed manual AWD |
The all wheel drive system works really well in bad weather and snow. The turbo engine works well at altitude vs. naturally aspirated engines. see full Subaru Legacy review |

This is my fifth Subaru Legacy, all chosen for their AWD, symetrical aboxer drivetrain, and engines. Styling is great but second to the mechanical engineering. see full Subaru Legacy review |

The regular Continental all season tires are pretty unimpressive. They have reasonable handling and road feel, but are barely better than summer tires when the temperatures drop below 40 degrees. I have been very impressed with my General Altimax Arctic winter tires though. I plan to get a good set of summer performance tires soon, which is what this car should have come with. see full Subaru Legacy review |
