Tilt and telescopic wheel plus the adjustments with the drivers seat had me in a very good/comfortable driving position. Being comfortable allows me to concentrate on the drive ahead instead of being distracted by squirming around in the seat. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

Being a 5 door hatch, there is plenty of room back for 2 full size adults or 3 kids/teenagers. The versatility of the hatch makes it feel like a Mini SUV. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

It's a joke. You can't fit anything in the back seat aside from children and/or groceries/shopping. Putting an adult back there will require a sincere apology, and possibly a written note and gift bottle of wine. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

I bought this car to replace a 2004 Mazda 6i Hatchback that I truly loved (got rear-ended and totaled). I did not like the 2012 Mazda 6 at all (or the milage it got), so I went the 3 with Skyactiv. The rear seat and rear legroom is just a bit too small. If it were a tad larger, this would be a awesome car, but the great mileage I get offsets this to a certain degree. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

Non of either if the front seats are all the way back, but rear seat room is NOT a factor for me. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

The Mazda3 is not a vehicle for transporting more than 2 people. The backseat is cramped for a full-size adult. However, when required, they will fit. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

I'm generally not a fan of auto transmissions, especially on small 4 cylinder engines. After driving both the 6sp M and 6sp A, the auto was the better choice though. Coming from the RX-8, the 3 manual was lacking. The skyactiv auto works as adverti see full Mazda Mazda3 review |

This car has absolutely no oomph. I've had to modify my driving to accomodate the lack of power. No darting. You need to think in terms of currents in traffic, and try to figure out good flows in order to pass or get along anywhere; you will NOT be able to push the gas to try to reach that open area up on the right for an exit. You need to adjust, and instead drop you speed and start anticipating another 1/4 to 1/2 mile BEFORE your exit, how you're going to get over. Traffic is thus a major problem; all you can do is flow. You CANNOT move to the left/passing lane and expect anything to happen; there is not much acceleration at all. You also do not have enough power to get yourself out of trouble. This car's transmission FIGHTS you , to get into the tallest gear/lowest RPM possible. It DOES NOT react whwn you push the pedal. I've many times pushed the pedal down, only to be rewarded with a dull Rrrrrr. As I wonder what's happening, and push further, even resting the pedal on the floor, the car downshifts not once, but TWICE, pushing the rpm's to about 5500 - for 1 second, before it upshifts. This is FRIGHTENING in it's slowness of reaction, slowness of acceleration, and possibility of damage to the engine. I bought the car due to my commute of 400 miles per week and the high prie of gas. With the price down, I have no reason to keep this car. It's lack of positives outweigh any benefit. see full Mazda Mazda3 review |
