Quite possibly the most comfortable front seats I have ever sat in. It is as if they were pulled straight from an Audi and placed in the GTI. An added bonus is the heated cloth, which is unusual because usually you need to option cold leather for heat. see full Volkswagen Jetta / Rabbit / GTI review |

With only one car, I needed a sporty car with legitimate rear seat room and an automatic for the other users. I have had 2 6ft passengers in the back seat without complaint. The cushion could use a little more height/angle to aid in leg support. Nitpickin see full Volkswagen Jetta / Rabbit / GTI review |

It works fine for me, but if you have adults that use the rear seat often they may find it a little uncomfortable for long trips. The legroom is decent, but the seats are a bit hard and not all that ergonomic. see full Volkswagen Jetta / Rabbit / GTI review |

The little 2.0L turbo four is incredibly torquey, though it manages to provide virtually no torque steer. The power delivery is fluid and fun making simple driving activities like merging on the highway or changing lanes something to look forward to. see full Volkswagen Jetta / Rabbit / GTI review |

The narrow angle VR6 is a spectacularly smooth engine once warmed up. Paired with the tuned exhaust system it makes Porsche-esque noises and has strong, turbine like response in the midrange revs. Just enough power to keep you from getting into trouble. see full Volkswagen Jetta / Rabbit / GTI review |

2007 | 4dr Hatch turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4 6-speed manual FWD |
The engine is where I'm probably the most pleased and simultaneously disappointed. First, only having 190hp makes zero sense when this same engine will make 228hp in the X1. The low end feels extremely strong, but as the revs pass 4500, power tapers off significantly much like the MKV GTI does. It feels 100% artificially limited considering all the technology under the valve covers of the B46 engine, though. My wife rarely spins the engine to that upper rev range, so it is completely fine for her driving style. That said, the "fake" limitation really hurts the Clubman's value proposition against the other hot hatches on the market. The 6MT and clutch are easy to modulate and smooth, but both lack the engagement and feedback of my FR-S. The rev matching feature on downshifts work well. see full Volkswagen Jetta / Rabbit / GTI review |
