2011 | 4dr Hatch 120-horsepower 1.6L I4 6-speed automatic FWD |
Its cramped, but seems about the same as any other car in its size range. It was easier to get in and out of compared to a Mazda 2 and about the same as current generation Prius C. I wouldn't take anyone long distances in the rear, but I didn't expect to. We have a 2009 Prius which is our long distance carry people car. I wanted something with good handling and economy that was well built and that's what I got. see full Ford Fiesta review |

Basically, it is a two seater. Car seats and small children will fit ok in the back. Essentially it is a great commuter car. see full Ford Fiesta review |

The PowerShift transmission is as bad as you've heard. There are definitely ways to learn how to diminish its flaws. Generally, the higher RPMs you go, the less jerkiness/heaving you experience, and the smoother the shifts are. Coming to a near-stop and then going again (e.g. a California roll) causes rough shifting and bucking. At low RPMs in general, the shifting is not smooth. see full Ford Fiesta review |
2011 | 4dr Hatch 120-horsepower 1.6L I4 6-speed automatic FWD |
Coming from a manual, the shifts are smooth. Its not a slushbox but it moves when pushed and has less trouble figuring out what gear to be in than I do in emergency situations, and I've been driving a manual for over 30 years. see full Ford Fiesta review |

Quick accelleration, maintains highway speeds and passes cars on highway with incredible ease. I do not feel like the proverbial 98-pound-weakling driving this car on the highway! see full Ford Fiesta review |

Factory Kumho tires are noisy and have very little grip, especially in the rain. Fortunately this is easily correctable by using Michelin Defender or similar when replacing them. see full Ford Fiesta review |
