It's not a Honda or Toyota, but it's also not a Dodge. One alternative considered was the Dodge Caravan, but a quick look at the numbers spooked me. Talking to actual past owners killed the deal. I wanted a keeper. full 2014 Mazda Mazda5 review |

Dash has a high-frequency rattle/buzz on deceleration, accessory belt squeels constantly in the rain, tires are visibly wearing away at a quick rate full 2007 Mazda Mazda5 review |
2006 | 4dr Minivan 157-horsepower 2.3L I4 4-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Plan to spend lots of money on suspension components and tires. It's not just that the bushings get noisy (see lots of other reviews), but the components wear out quickly and are extremely expensive. This, of course, also leads to premature tire wear (and you are already wearing out tires quickly because of the extreme negative camber settings in the rear suspension). Yes, it handles well, but is it worth the bill$$$ full 2006 Mazda Mazda5 review |
