What do you think of Hyundai's latest grille design? I like it much better than its predecessors. Not striking, but a handsome shape with a clear Audi influence. Sporty enough?
The latest Honda Civic has much busier styling that's much more likely to get the car noticed. The previous Elantra GT was styled more like the new Civic. Note the windshield angle.
The Elantra sedan shares no body panels and has much different styling. Which do you prefer? In Europe, you can get a longer, wagon body style. The hatchback has a short rear overhang.
If you didn't already know, which brand would you think offered this car? An unexpectedly upscale interior. Red details add just enough color.
The placement of the infotainment display permits a lower instrument panel. Opportunity squandered. More striking styling inside the Civic as well. Plus a lower instrument panel.
Far too much cheap-looking silver trim inside the previous Elantra GT. Much plainer, cheaper appearance inside the Elantra sedan.
Rear seat on the tight side. Elantra Touring was much roomier. Cargo space about average for a compact hatchback.
A useful amount of space with the seats folded, but no crossover substitute. Much more space behind the rear seat of the Elantra Touring.
The engine cover does...what? 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.6-liter engine. Somewhat quick, but fuel economy marginal.
