So far this truck gives me no reason to believe it will be any less reliable than my 2002. It tows just as well, and there seem to be many strides from GM to make it better in other areas. So far, so good. full 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer review |

Our first was a 2003. We only experienced a taillight that was replaced under recall and foam baffles in the front fenders that slid out of place. And knock the playskool interior, but it stands up better than many more stylish competitors. full 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer review |

This is not a bad vehicle, but in general it has required a more repairs than many other vehicle than I have owned. There are known weaknesses with every vehicle and the internet has made finding them very simple. The good news is that if you are inclined to do so, you can make most of the repairs yourself. The bad news is that some of the things are complicated and I would consider them as design flaws, but almost every vehicle has something that sucks. If you were not in a position to do so however you may be better off with something else, like a Honda or a Toyota It is a comfortable almost full size SUV that gets decent fuel economy. It has real 4WD including low range. Every town has a Chevy garage. Parts are not ridiculously expensive. Now that I have done most of the repairs it is a decent truck. full 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer review |

The powertrain will last much longer than the rest of the car. Interior wear and random parts failures will leave it undriveable before the engine & transmission quit. full 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer review |
