Lower front fascia borrowed from Opel is aggressive yet clean. Audiesque curves contrast with the edginess of current Cadillacs.
Can styling be too clean--does this car make enough of a statement? Shared influences, but even rounder.
High roof, 19-inch wheels shrink the perceived size of the car. Even larger wheels are optional. Tall bodysides make the Regal appear as solid as it is.
More German than the Germans? Very solidly constructed, very dark. Blue accents lighten up the Chrysler's interior.
Some relief comes from a few pieces of chrome, plus white stitching on the seats. The new controls are laid out well, but could operate better.
The 2011 to 2013 Regal's center stack was chock full of buttons. Redesigned center stack. Far fewer buttons, but touch-sensitive LCDs sometimes aren't.
LCD not as seamlessly integrated as in latest Chryslers. Can include a performance meter. I'm not sure being able to select this alternative is very valuable.
14.2 cubic foot trunk nearly two cubes short of most, including the Chrysler's. Same engine as in other Regals for 2014.
