Entire front of engine needs to come off and so does the top half in order to replace. This is a pretty common problem as the chains are not as durable as they should be. In addition to that, the hydraulic tensioners run on oil pressure, so if you are even a little bit low on oil, the tension can be lessened and then the timing chains will jump teeth causing out of time issue. | ||
