| Mar 20156000 mi | There is slack or play between the transmission and the drive wheels. The dealership mechanic felt it when it was on the lift but it was not corrected when I took the escape back. The accelerator is VERY touchy. For example, at 1-2 MPH in a parking lot looking for a spot, you just think about touching the accelerator and the Escape lurches slightly & there is a pronounced KLUNK from drivetrain slack. After 1K miles. The heat sent only to the floor is feeble. When the fan ispeed s brought to 50%, there is lots of noise in the dashboard. The noise makes me think that a piece of ductwork has become dislodged. Air directed to dash and windshield is fine. The AM HD audio changes tone and seems to loose HD lock. In the NY metro area that is not acceptable. The audio quality changes and I find myself listening to the quality of the audio and not the content. The dealer disabled AM HD for me. | ||
