Feb 2022125000 mi | Just wrote it on the last page. Rodents nibbled through two wiring harnesses, which is basically all of 'em. Repair was a pain. The ABS light went on. The local shop had the car for over a week, and replaced several parts, but it didn't fix the problem. Ultimately, they threw in the towel. Then we took it to the dealer. They identified the problem. But... it took FOUR MONTHS to get new harnesses from Japan. The repair cost my insurer over $9000. One of the repair techs said that rodent-nibbled wiring harnesses were a particular problem for Priuses. News to me. |
