It almost sounds like the enginr was choking before starting up. Car would idle roughly but only after the engine has warmed up. Dealership did not diagnose the car, but suggested throttle body and intake valve cleaning, valve cover and spark plug replacement. The idea was these services would fix the problem. After having all of those done, the issue with idling roughly has gradually gone away. It doesn't seem to an issue anymore, today is like 1 month since the car was worked on. The car still has the occasional issue of trouble starting up. Same symptoms, it takes longer to crank before the engine fires up. Only seems to happen when the engine is warm, has not ever happened yet on a cold start. I am working around this issue by stabbinh the gas pedal as soon as i notice the car taking longer to fire up. | ||
