It drove me nuts in traffic. Needed the TSB for the rear view compass/backup camera mirror - the compass would lock-up. the TSB did fix the problem.

Because my vehicle is covered by Subaru's extended CVT warranty that expires 08/2018, I insisted that the source of the leak be identified and addressed, because leaks do not tend to get better with time. They pulled off the pan and found minor corrosion to the transmission fluid pan seal, so they replaced the seal. Pan has not leaked since the repair.

Tranny fault P2762 TQ clutch pressure control solenoid circuit range/performance, cant purchase solenoid separately, valve pack $3300 aust 800US. rang three tranny specialists none would repair a CVT tranny. Subaru advised replace tranny at cost of $7500. Replaced tranny with a secondhand tranny from wreckers(65000kms). This is poor service from Subaru Australia, there is an obvious fault with this tranny when Subaru USA increased the tranny warranty from five years to TEN years 100000 miles. In Aust THREE years warranty.This is a very expensive failure on a non serviceable component that Subaru Australia should acknowledge and fix, Beware all Australians owners of Subarus with CVT transmissions.
