Finally Blower Motor stopped working. Job was very easy other than having to solder wires. Replaced entire Electrical Power Steering Unit. Warning light came upon dashboard, car was extremely difficult to steer. Car ran perfectly earlier that day. This happened about 2 months previously, I disconnected a battery terminal and reinstalled. It then ran fine and I forgot about it. When it happened this time disconnecting the terminal did not help, as I tried it several times. There was a recall on this very item but.....my car had a "born on date" 10 days before official date. I feel as though my car should have been covered, since it had the same symptoms as the vehicles which were recalled. $1400. Dealer found 3 Exhaust System Gaskets which needed replacing while they were repairing Power Steering Unit. $215. | ||
