Aug 2010	The grounding wire was too short. When the car was started at the dealership a second time, the engine stumbled and the 'check engine' light appeared and remained solid. As it turns out, a longer grounding wire resolved the problem.
Jan 2011	Fuel gauge is defective and could not be repaired after replacing the fuel sender unit and updating the car's software. A new instrument cluster has been ordered to attempt, yet again, a fix to the problem. The fuel gauge never showed the correct volume of fuel in the gas tank. After replacing the fuel sensor without success at an earlier date, the dealer replaced the entire instrument cluster. Finally and thankfully, this fixed the problem!
