Apr 201798809 mi | Safety Recall, Wireless Ignition Node Receiver. Car would beep the horn, lock doors, and flash headlights any time fobic was within 20 feet of the car. Took it to dealership, who said they had fixed the problem by changing WINR. Drove 85 miles home and as soon as I got out of the car, the aforementioned problems returned. Called dealership about taking it back, because the problem was not fixed. They said this time a diagnostic fee would be charged despite the maintenance supervisor saying that it was good to go (in other words, fixed). I wrapped the fobic in aluminum foil, and then placed it in an Altoids box...which fixed the problem. Was a pain to wrap and unwrap, but, after about three months...it quit the beep, lock, flash problem, and now, another three months later, I don't have the problems. Oh, and, I do not use the trunk lock button nor the keyless entry...I do it all OLD SCHOOL and use the entry/trunk key. |

Sep 201783700 miC $60 | Both outer tie rod ends needed replacing - Passenger side more worn than Drivers
Jun 201896100 mi | Bad squeak / creek in rear suspension; also rear brake rotors. I have ordered parts (and some special tools). Will be looking to replace the rear spring arm passenger side in the next couple weeks when I have time and the weather is good. Noise is coming from the outer bushing.
Aug 201896100 miC $100 | Just a follow up – replaced the spring arm today (aka lower control arm) – quiet ride has returned. The “bushing” is actually more of a kind of ball joint (no rubber coupling) – had dried out and gotten a little loose and dirty. Guess that is why it comes with the control arm and not separate.
Sep 2019106640 miC $25 | sway bar bushings noisy - replaced initially with MOOG problem solver - problem returned 2 years later - replaced with OE. MOOG ones were not installed correctly.
Nov 2019107 miC $15 | EVAP leak - Fuel Cap not sealing anymore - initially swapped cap with my Challenger to prove that was it - then ordered an aftermarket cap. Later replaced that with OE as the aftermarket did not seal well unless tightened hard
Jul 2020110360 miC $90 | Replaced starter motor
Jul 2021115320 miC $75 | Main parking brake cable snapped at rear connector; part discontinued and no clear substitutions so I replaced the main cable and both rear cables with 2011 parts that fit (rears are the same - main needed some mods). Replaced rear pads and rotors also and brake light switch damaged during the repair

Sep 2016120000 miUS $90 | During normal maintenance a bad tie rod end was detected. The left tie rod end was replaced.
Sep 2017124000 miUS $788 | Ball joints needed replaced. The only way to do this is to replace the control arms. Both control arms were replaced. Car would not start with each try. It would sometimes take up to 5 tries for the car to start. Because the key is a fob and is electrical it was making a bad connection and the key module needed replaced. |
