On unlocking the car it instantly set off the horn and alarm. The key transmitter did not stop it. It would not reset. It would not unlock. But the alarm went off constantly. Thank goodness it wasn't in the evening. Car was immobile.

Alarm system activates randomly when using remote control to unlock the doors. When alarm activates, the doors remain locked and the driver's door must be unlocked with a key to access the ignition switch to deactivate the alarm. Growling noise when transmission shifted into 3,4 & 5 gears at light acceleration in traffic. After driving vehicle with transmission technician, he determined noise was exhaust related. He re-aligned the exhaust pipes and the noise has disappeared.

Problem returned three days later. To return to dealer. Suspect steering pump.
