Service Dep't. rep heard it, said it is normal ("Hard valve lifters"). Click / clunk in Steering Column: Dealer replaced the required parts, per TSB. Problems seems solved. More on the "Humming/growling under load @ 2100 RPM" problem: Dealer installed a new "A" pipe (coming from exhaust manifold); was substantially more quiet for a few days, but the noise is returning. Haven't been back to show dealer, yet.
