I paid $488 for the "parts" (they initially wanted $900), labor covered by warranty repairs. It has been occuring since ~40K km and considering the 3 other drivetrain-related repairs, I argue the clutch got unusually worn. Both driveshafts vibrated / shuddered violently under throttle. Technician came along for test drive confirmed that "they're either loose or about to break". Driveshafts were replaced. Fluid leak between engine and transmission. Repaired under warranty (not sure if original drivetrain warranty, or under my CPO warranty)

Sometimes, the "Check VSA" light comes on, also putting the car in low-power limp-mode (an engine restart fixes that). Long story short, the engine code shows that it's an electrical problem: the throttle calibration module is faulty. I was able to confirm this by accelerating using the cruise control's buttons, and it accelerates and holds throttle smoothly. I haven't repaired this yet, because the mechanic that originally saw this got the diagnosis all wrong. He insisted it's the throttle body that needs cleaning, and that's not the case. Still need to repair this, but car is somewhat drivable. Power steering leaks. Have to add fluid regularly.
